For your consideration we have a Ridgway and Sparks Indus turkey platter from 1877. It is in remarkable condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. It only has a small amount of discoloration in two spots, please inspect the pictures carefully. The large platter measures approximately 15 3/4 inches wide by 12 3/4 inches deep. This platter is from the aesthetic movement and features two sets of birds, turkeys and a swallow (or similar bird) forage for feed at the ruins of an Asian style structure. The blue and white transferware platter dates from 1877! This is a must have for Ridgway collectors or for someone who wants an elegant Thanksgiving table.
