For your consideration we have a fantastic handmade vintage quilt in the barn raising variation of the log cabin pattern made in unusual pink and rose floral fabrics. It is in excellent vintage condition with no tears, stains on signs of wear. It is very large, measuring approximately 100 inches by 92 inches. It has very lightweight poly batting and drapes and displays well. It features sweet floral fabrics, please zoom in and see the ditsy rose and other prints. The back is a cream with tiny pink and red flowers. Log cabin quilts date back to Abe Lincoln’s days. Since women were not allowed to vote, they sewed log cabin quilts to show their support for his candidacy. During the Underground Railroad, homes with log cabin quilts hanging in the windows were indicated to be a safe house. This beautiful quilt would look great in your home.
