For your consideration we have the 1940’s McCoy turkey cookie jar (they also released one in the 1960’s). It is in excellent vintage condition with the majority of its cold paint intact, although it has a slight hairline on the inside rim and a small repair on the tip of it’s bow. Please see the last two pictures which highlight these issues. This hard to find piece measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches wide. I love the way the tail feathers arc around and at the base in back, we see a grasss motif that is on other McCoy pieces! The turkey cookie jar is quite rare, much less to find one with this much of it’s red color still intact.
