For your consideration we a fabulous vintage Rookwood Pottery elephant paperweight figurine in a creamy white matte glaze from 1930. This piece, designed by William McDonald, and includes his cipher on the base. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing and measures approximately 4 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches tall. It has a heft that is unexpected considering it’s size, but substantial enough to perform the intended function of holding down stray papers. This piece would also make wonderful office decor or simply as an art object. Whatever you decide to use it as, it is a must have for any Rookwood Pottery collector!
