For your consideration we have an absolutely beautiful pink and white vintage handmade quilt with embroidered flower baskets and prairie point edging. It is in excellent vintage condition with only one spot, one small area of wear and a few pieces of the black embroidery thread that is loose (highlighted in the last 2 photos). It measures approximately 68x80 inches, and has a lightweight batting. It is pictured on a queen sized bed that has a 4 inch thick foam mattress pad on underneath. I encourage you to closely look over the pictures, zoom in, to see the incredible detail and skill level displayed in this quilt. It has tight even stitching at 10 stitches an inch! And not only was the maker a talented quilter, as shown especially on the reverse, but they were also very talented in embroidery. I believe that the prairie point edges are made of sateen as they have some sheen and a silky feel. I wish I could have included many more pictures, this quilt is just so stunning.
